Falls County Parole and Probation Compared

Texas parole and Falls County probation are not two names for the same status. The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles decides parole and discretionary mandatory supervision. The TDCJ Parole Division then performs field supervision. By contrast, the Falls County Community Supervision and Corrections Department, or CSCD, supervises probation ordered by courts in the 82nd Judicial District.

A person on probation may never have entered a TDCJ prison. A person on parole has left TDCJ confinement before the maximum sentence date, subject to rules and supervision. Mandatory supervision is another conditional release route based on calendar time and eligible good time, but the Board may deny it in applicable cases. None of these terms means the underlying court record vanished.

Discharge

The documented end of a sentence or supervision term.

Absconder

A person the supervising agency alleges stopped reporting or cannot be located.

How to Verify Falls County Post-Release Supervision

Begin with identity and case type. Similar names are common, and an office assignment alone does not establish a named person's status. Prefer a cause number, SID, or seven-digit TDCJ number. Compare age, conviction county, offense, and sentence before treating two records as the same person.

1. Check the court judgment to learn whether the sentence imposed probation, confinement, or both.
2. For a TDCJ case, use the TDCJ Online Inmate Search and record the projected, eligibility, and maximum dates separately.
3. Review the Board of Pardons and Paroles information for the current person's review status and decision.
4. After release is scheduled or completed, contact the TDCJ Parole Division office serving Falls County. For probation, use the court record and Falls/Robertson CSCD.
5. Obtain a discharge or termination record before concluding supervision has ended.

Falls County Parole Review Has No Case Hearing Calendar

Texas Board review is not a public courtroom hearing. The Board does not conduct a formal individual hearing for parole or mandatory-release consideration, so an inmate hearing calendar is not available. Public agency meeting notices concern Board governance, not a docket of named inmate cases.

For a current TDCJ inmate, Parole Review Information is the useful substitute. It can show review status, the last decision, and a next review date. TDCJ updates current information on working days with at least a one-day lag. Initial files are generally pulled months before eligibility, and a three-member panel votes in sequence until two votes match.

Approval may be withdrawn if new information appears. A program vote can also require completion before TDCJ schedules release. Translate the vote first, then check scheduling, and finally confirm the actual event.

Falls County Parole Reports to Waco

The official county assignment places Falls County in the Waco District Parole Office and Day Reporting Center, Region IV. That regional structure matters. The lack of a parole office in Marlin does not mean a released Falls County person lacks supervision.

This office also serves Bosque, Hill, Limestone, and McLennan Counties. The county assignment is a service map, not a public list of parolees. Supply a reliable identifier and ask what record or lawful verification route applies. Before a Board vote, the published status line is 844-512-0461. After a favorable vote, TDCJ directs release-status questions to 512-406-5202.

Falls County Probation Uses a Two-County District

Local probation runs through the Falls County Community Supervision and Corrections Department, which serves the 82nd Judicial District for Falls and Robertson Counties. Its Case Connect service is for enrolled clients, not an anonymous public name search. A court judgment and current docket are the safer public evidence that probation was ordered.

The published schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Court days can change office availability. The office also lists a first-Tuesday late-reporting cutoff of 6:30 p.m. This detail is for people already instructed to report and should not be treated as a public lookup service.

Falls County Reentry Starts Before Release

Falls County contains two TDCJ women's prisons, William P. Hobby Unit and Marlin Unit. Both official unit descriptions list CHANGES or pre-release work and reentry planning. Marlin also lists Female Cognitive Pre-Release. These are real program facts, but they are not public locators and do not promise parole, housing, transport, or a release date.

A program entry may reflect preparation while custody continues. Some Board vote codes require treatment or transfer before a person can be released. For that reason, participation should never replace the scheduled-release record or post-event confirmation. Violations, Warrants, and Falls County Records

Supervision conditions come from the controlling order and agency. They may concern reporting, travel, treatment, fees, or other person-specific duties. A violation allegation does not itself explain the final result. The supervising agency and court or Board process determine whether a warrant, modification, revocation, or return to custody follows.

An absconder status means the agency alleges that the person stopped reporting or cannot be found. It is not discharge. Texas has a sex-offender absconder search for a limited subset, but no general Falls County public absconder directory was found. Do not treat absence from that narrow tool as proof that no warrant exists.

For probation, request the judgment, any motion or order to revoke, and the later termination order from the proper Falls County clerk. For parole, use TDCJ and Board records. A new Falls County jail booking may document return to county custody, but it does not by itself state the final supervision outcome.

When Falls County Supervision Ends

Physical release and supervision discharge are separate events. A person may leave prison on parole or mandatory supervision and remain under TDCJ control in the community. Likewise, a person may complete a county jail term while a probation case or another cause remains active.

Look for an agency discharge, supervision termination, expiration record, or court order. Pair it with the original judgment and any revocation or modification. A missing current result is not itself a discharge record.

Government records can be limited by law, including confidential parole information. Ask for named existing records and accept lawful redaction. The goal is a supported status, not an inference from a blank search result.
